Children's Day Celebration on 14th November 2017
This year our Children’s Day was unique. Unlike the previous years, the teachers performed for the children. It was the first time in the history of St. Antony’s School that teachers danced, acted and sang for the children. The children were extremely happy and excited to watch the teachers perform. They were not willing to sit down and wanted to crowd around the stage to have a better view of their teachers. The welcome dance by Sr. Anima and the teachers was beautiful children were thrilled to see the solo dances of Sr. Anima, Ramesh ,and Loknaik colourful.

The Kolata dance by 18 teachers was fabulous. Children kept cheering the teachers all the time. There was a comical skit done by Sr. Mary Mathias and teachers on classroom behavior. Which was hilarious. Teachers put on the uniform of students, so much so we couldn’t make out that they were teachers. Children enjoyed it thoroughly. The highlight of the programme was the fashion show in which all the teachers participated. All were dressed in their best and looked gorgeous. Children were absolutely excited to see the teachers especially Sr. Mary Mathias who was dressed in a colourful saree with lipstick and jewels. They couldn’t believe them eyes.

All the teachers entertained the students with melodious songs and inspiring speeches. Mrs. Hema did an excellent job of anchoring the show . The children assured us that they will never forget this children’s day.
